Nigel Christensen is from Celebrate Messiah NZ. He was raised in a home with parents who have now been serving in Jewish ministry for almost fifty years. Following a career as a primary school teacher, the Lord showed Nigel his background was no accident but rather the basis for a calling into Jewish ministry in 2014. Nigel now serves with Celebrate Messiah—New Zealand as their North Island representative. During the summertime, he offers free “Welcome to Wellington” tours and BBQs to Israeli travelers. Throughout the rest of the year, Nigel is an itinerant Bible teacher, traveling and visiting churches in the North Island to help believers have a heart for the lost sheep of Israel. Some of her greatest learning moments have been through the experience of emotional abuse which has been prevalent in her life from her childhood and through her first marriage. Jakki has written a book, “Goodbye for Now or Goodbye Forever” about her experiences of emotional abuse and how she has overcome them, with the help of her Saviour, Jesus, in the hope it may help others who are experiencing the same behaviours in their life, within relationships they have.
