Woon Ooi

Woon Ooi is not your everyday corporate dad or tradie dad.  He works in Executive leadership, communications and is a high-performance coach. His day job has seen him come face to face with some of the most confronting situations imaginable – including being on the front line in the Bourke Street massacre, hostage negotiations, going undercover to buy illicit drugs from traffickers, and coaxing people off the top of buildings and bridges. He’s the son of a minister, and his adolescent backstory is every parent’s worst nightmare – gangs, expulsions, you name it! But somehow, all the danger and rebellion of those formative years shaped him into an outstanding human with a drive and passion for helping others. When you hear about his career you might picture a hardened, desensitised man.

But quite the contrary – Woon wears his heart on his sleeve, has an endless capacity for helping people in need, is an amazing father, a loyal and caring husband, and would give you the shirt off his back. His lived experience has gifted him with a humble wisdom that is evident as soon as you talk to him. One day he flicked on his car radio which began playing the song, “Breathe,” By Michael W Smith. A friend of his who’d been praying for him, had programmed his car stereo into the local Christian radio station. Woon said that when the song came on, something came over him, he had an encounter with God. Steve Mckenna Caught up with Woon to hear hist story, listen in!

Dave Drage

Pastor Dave Drage has been serving Jesus for over 30 years, from the big smoke to the red dirt—and he’s still going hard. He’s got a real love for Australia and its people, and a bold belief that God’s not done with this nation yet. With a guitar in one hand and a Bible in the other, Dave’s story is anything but boring. He’s walked through a spinal injury, a brown snake bite, skin cancer, and even a stroke—and come out the other side with a stronger faith and a good dose of Aussie grit.Known as a modern-day revivalist, Dave now pastors Power Community Church in Rosedale. Since replanting a 100-year-old chapel in 2021, the place has come alive—salvations, baptisms, miracles… the lot. Straight-talking, faith-filled, and not afraid to have a laugh, Dave brings a message that God still moves, still heals, and still has a plan—no matter who you are or where you’re from.

Luke Strochnetter

Luke Strochnetter from Hervey Bay is a speaker, entrepreneur, and leader passionate about helping people realise they are already called and already on assignment. Luke’s worn a lot of different hats over the years – from running businesses to organising events anywhere from 10 people to over 11,000, and even serving on Telstra’s Regional Advisory Council. It’s taken him into all sorts of spaces across ministry, business and government. His journey started as a shy, bullied teenager full of fear, before encountering God at a youth outreach event. Since then, it’s been a 13-year journey of healing, growth, and stepping into opportunities he never thought possible – including working with some of the biggest companies in Australia. Through that journey, Luke’s come to realise that ministry isn’t just a church stage – it’s the sphere of influence God has already placed you in. His heart is to help people see that they’re already called and already on assignment, living with purpose and leading with integrity in every area of life. This message is captured in his first resource, You Must Pass Go, a 21-day devotional, available for preorder now. Now based on the Gold Coast, Luke works with Wez Hone through Business GREENhouse and the Kingdom Business Movement. In this program, Luke shares his story with Wes Leake, listen in!
