According to the university of Iowa, the average 2 year old child hears 432 negative statements each day, but only 32 positive statements each day. And by the time your kid is in high school he or she will hear an average of 15 negative comments to every one positive! The Bibles says in Ephesians 4:29, don’t use any foul or abusive language. Let everything you say be good and helpful, so that your words will be an encouragement to those who hear them.
