Maths Story [Godspot]

I heard a great story about what it means to have a relationship with God. The story is told about a first year Mathematics student that had an exam. He asked his professor “If you could take an A4 piece of paper as a cheatsheet into the exam. The professor agreed and told all the students they could take in an A4 sheet of paper and whatever they could fit on the paper. They could take into the exam. The next day the cheeky first year maths student was sitting in the exam. And standing next to him was a 4th year mathematics genius. He was ready to lean down and whisper that answers throughout the exam. The professor said, “You can’t bring someone in. That’s cheating!” He said, “But hang on… You said that whatever I can fit on the A4 sheet of paper I could bring into the exam.” He pointed to the ground and the 4th year student was standing on the sheet of paper. The point is you could do much better with a person helping you than with just some notes on the paper. With christianity many people just read the Bible and the laws and the principles and try and live a religious life. The truth is Christianity is about a relationship with the wizzard, the Lord Jesus Christ. He’s seated at the right hand of the Father and is leaning down 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, whispering, saying “This is the way, walk in it.” Maybe today’s the day for you to consider a relationship with Jesus Christ.
