Research shows that the health benefits of laughter are far ranging. Studies have shown that laughter can help relieve pain, bring greater happiness and even increase immunity. One study suggests that pharmacy healthy children may laugh as much as 400 times a day, but adults tend to laugh only 15 times a day. I reckon all of us could use a little more laughter in our lives, considering how beneficial a good laugh can be for our stress levels and overall wellness. And the Bible says that a cheerful heart is good medicine. It also says we need to have faith like a child. Why don’t you go and have a good belly laugh today! Lighten up! It might be just what you need.
