Matt Gorton and Scruff the Dog are from the childrens ministry Quizworx. They share the good news of the Bible through performing creative live shows for kids, especially in state schools. Quizworx consists of 12 humans (ranging from full time employees, through to weekend casuals), and numerous puppet characters. Since its inception, Quiz Worx has performed in excess of 4,000 shows, having been seen by over 400,000 people. They use the mediums of puppetry, music, chalk talks, animations, storytelling, drama, quick draw, comics, and numerous other tools to present the good news. In this interview Matt shares his testimony, and Scruff the Dog also shares his testimony… I guess every dog has it’s day!

He’s been on the scene at Bourke St, Melbourne after the recent Terrorist attack and he’s been on the scene after many fires, floods and disasters in our nation. He also served in the response after the 2017 church shooting in Texas, USA. Ben Fitzgerald is a passionate lover of Jesus and the Leader of Awakening Australia, Awakening Europe and GODfest Ministries. He spends a lot of his time travelling abroad as an evangelist. Originally from Australia, he met Jesus in an encounter that deeply changed him late in 2002 whilst he was dealing drugs. Since then Ben has lived hungry for one thing, to show the world Jesus in his everyday life and to take the good news of the Kingdom to the nations. In Galatians 5:1 it says “It is for freedom that Christ has set us free” and in line with that mission he loves to help people live in God’s fullness of freedom and identity. Ben has a deep conviction that the future of Australia and Europe will be transformed by radical believers living free and proclaiming Jesus boldly.

John Dickson is a writer, speaker and a public advocate for the Christian faith. He was the Founding Director of the Centre for Public Christianity, and has a degree in theology and a PhD in ancient history. An ordained Anglican minister, he was a Research Fellow of the Department of Ancient History at Macquarie University (2005-17), a Visiting Academic in the Faculty of Classics at the University of Oxford (2017-18), and teaches a course on the Historical Jesus for the Department of Jewish Studies at the University of Sydney. He has hosted two nationally televised documentaries and authored more than a dozen books. And most importantly, in his early years, he was a rock star and lead singer of the band, “In the Silence.”

He is an editor and a writer for The Gospel Coalition and the author of a number of books on Christian belief, including Why Bother With Church?, James For You, and the bestselling Is God Anti-Gay? Sam speaks widely on issues of sexuality and identity and continues to minister as a Bible teacher and pastor. He is currently working on projects concerning singleness and the Christian understanding of the body.
